Can anyone confirm? But I just couldn't ignore those resources, and after building so many colonizers I was forced to stay on the defensive. I think I was supposed to play this map offensively and conquer stuff, and use the quest rewards to replenish my troops. I was building the tier 4 network controller every 2nd turn. I had a 50% influence shop discount, and >30 influence per turn. So I played defensively and built up 6 colonies, and defended myself using only the starting units and the absolutely massive number of Autonom units I could buy with influence. ![]() ![]() Through the constant onslaught of attacks from the ELOP in the campaign, I wasn't even aware that you could diverge from fighting the voidbringers + ELOP. They're win the campaign as an ally of the Shakarn, an ally of the ELOP, an ally of the voidbringers. My starting area was absolutely amazing, with 3 (!) of the locations that give +5 influence. I was looking at the trophies for the possible victory conditions. I played on hard, but the heros I imported had an optimized loadout and could pretty much solo anything (Refractor tank, and the best mods from the racial techlines of all races in the previous mission). Shortly after that, ELOP contacts me for an alliance.Īlso, yes the AI is super aggressive. The chancellor joined the voidbringers and became an enemy. When the voidbringers spawn, refuse to join them. ![]() When you conquer the first colony and the chancellor wants to use the Xenoplague, decline. What I did, though not sure what parts of this are relevant: I played as Psynumbra, and had the optional Vanguard hero with me.
